Meet the creators

​

A cosmetic formulator by profession with an extensive formulation experience. Sounds boring so I would like to call myself a cosmetic creator as creativity is key in what I do. I am very lucky as my profession soon after I started cosmetic “mixology” became my passion that “infected” my husband too. I have come across many cosmetic ingredients and formulated with most of them but at the same time, by many reasons, have chosen “the natural way”.

Why natural?

Because they are safer than synthetics?

No, they actually are not, they can cause as many allergic reactions as other cosmetics.

Those are the reasons why:

​

• Nature derived ingredients (such as plant oils, butters, essential oils) are complexed mixtures that act synergistically with a lot of scientific evidence to benefit skin and overall wellbeing (aromatherapy).

• They are a great and very efficient source of nutrients: minerals, vitamins, omega acids, everything and more that your skin needs to stay healthy.

• A lot of nature based ingredients, such as oils, are free from water and display self-preserving properties (essential oils). Blending them together brings an opportunity to create preservative free products.

• Cosmetic products based on nature derived ingredients can be easily made with less processing what directly translates to less impact on the environment.

• They provide the natural “scent of life” and I personally love the odour of waxes, butters, especially essential oils. Blending them together is an exciting and full of surprises journey that I am thrilled to take!

My journey with BUniq natural creations started with myself and products created to suit my very own skin needs. Then it spread and reached our family & friends. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we all do!
